Our new, as yet untitled song that we’d been playing on the Rise to Remain tour, from Birmingham. Hopefully gives an idea of what you can expect from this album. For now we’re calling it ‘Arnie’. We always give our songs ridiculous pre prod names. For Empire it was names of Legends and people who died that year (Michael Jackson, Patrick Swazey). This album we’re going for people who’ve been at the centre of big news stories, kind of gives the song a timestamp too. So far we’ve got:
Murdoch (as in Rupert Murdoch, News of the World)
Gaddafi (as in Colonel Gaddafi)
Arnie (as in big Arnold and his housekeeper mistress)
Giggs (as in Ryan Giggs pumpin Imogen Thomas)
Priest (no idea why it’s called Priest)
Off to the studio in Hamilton tonight to jam through some new songs and hopefully piece together song number 6, Connolly (as in Billy Connolly, cuz he’s a funnycunt)
